"Big Ben", weiching 48 LBS, twice Grand Champion Turkey of the world , who was awarded the Governor Lem Small of Illinois Cup, symbolic of the world's championship, as the first international turkey exposition held at the 131st Regiment Armory, Chicago.

The turkey is owned by Mrs. Albert Schmidt, of Barnard, Kansas, who has been entering turkeys for eight years without once faling to win first prize.
